Welcome to Three Wee Peas Playtime!
Three Wee Peas Playtime is a fun, friendly playgroup for children aged 0-5 years, based in the NCT Centre, Newmains, North Lanarkshire. We run a 90 minute session each Thursday during term time, giving kids a chance to play, learn, and let their imaginations run wild!

Our role play sessions are all about sparking creativity. Kids can pretend to be anything they like through our role-play activities, while developing important skills like socialising, problem-solving, and learning how the world works. Each session is designed to be both fun and educational, for children and their grown-ups alike!

The play area is open, accessible, and easy to explore, and children are free to play independently or with others, moving between different themed areas. We use high-quality, age-appropriate toys to encourage communication, teamwork, and creativity. Our play areas are designed to suit children from newborns to preschoolers, with something for everyone—whether it’s a baby exploring textures or a preschooler pretending to run a shop!​
How our sessions work!
Each role-play session is designed to provide a fun and engaging experience for children aged 0-5, though children up to 9 years old with a ticket are also welcome to join in the fun!
Simply book your ticket in advance, and feel free to bring along older children— children aged 9+ accompanying younger guests and adults can join for free. Space is limited so it is important that you book your space online as unfortunately we are unable to accommodate walk-ins. The session lasts 90 minutes, during which you and your child are free to explore our variety of role-play spaces!
Five minutes before the session ends, a tidy-up song will signal it's time to wrap up the playtime. At this point, adults and children are encouraged to help put away toys and prepare for home time. It’s a wonderful opportunity for both fun and a little teamwork!

Important points to note: ​​​
For the safety and comfort of all our guests, we kindly ask that food not be eaten in the play area due to hygiene and allergy concerns. However, feel free to head to the ground floor of the NCT which has a café where you can enjoy a variety of tasty food and drinks!

While we are here to facilitate activities and provide a safe, welcoming space for your little ones, it’s important to note that parents and caregivers remain responsible for their children at all times during the sessions. Our role is to ensure a fun, structured environment, but you’ll be actively involved in supporting your child's play and development throughout each session!
